An original limited edition screenprint, handprinted by the artist, with added handpainted elements.
 
This print has a looser and more painterly style than most of my work, in a predominantly monochrome palette of Prussian blue which I printed in three layers to create textures and contrasts. I also painted some pink blush on the flowers. There are some variations between each print in the edition, and I have therefore labelled it as a variable edition [VE].
 
I created this from a photograph I took of japonica in a vase by Lucy Burley whose ceramics I greatly admire and with whom I will be exhibiting in June 2025.
 
Image size is 28 x 19cm, although note that the bottom of the image fades to white. Each print is signed and editioned in pencil at the bottom.
 
Minimum paper size is approx 32x22cm which gives a thin white border all around, but some in the edition have a wider border which may work better depending on how you plan to frame it, so do contact me if you'd like to discuss.
